Photography

I don't know about you, but I always love taking pictures, especially of nature, this is one I took on Sunday.  Living at uni, in the middle of a town does sometimes have its down-sides, for example.... I would love to be able to go out for big long walks either in parks or along the beach, but the problem is the travel. And without a car it makes it even harder to do.

What I've decided is that in a few months time I will do a little bit of travelling. Go to London, maybe even Brighton, and then blog about my trips, just as something a little bit different :)

The Joys of Life

Well... After me saying that I would upload a video Sunday... It didn't really go to plan! Hence the name of this post. Once again I have come down with a cold, the nicest day of the year so far and I feel like complete rubbish :( 

This is only a short post, but for anyone who reads these and has checked out my YouTube channel, there probably won't be any videos (at least not good ones anyway) until I'm feeling well enough to actually sit and edit them. The blog on the other hand, I will still try to update regularly.

Recording: Day 2

Well.... I've just finished recording my second video!!! I decided to do my first "Ask Nate" session with my cousin Ellen.

I definitely found that having someone to talk to you with was a lot easier than doing it by myself but I'm sure I'll get used to it!!

Tomorrow will mainly be editing our videos and making sure they look good, although the sound quality is pretty bad :S

If anyone who reads my blog wants to check the videos out they will be uploaded tomorrow (Sunday 9th March). I will try to get them uploaded by 2:00pm GMT but bear with me if they're a bit late!!

Time for sleep now!

Recording: Day 1

I finally got round to recording part of my first YouTube video today and Oh My God it was weird.... I never thought it would be as awkward as it was talking to a camera (a rubbish one at that :( ). Seeing as though it's my first video I know it isn't going to be great, plus I've had a really sore throat for the past couple of days and I'm only just recovering so my voice sounds a bit dodgy!!

Being my first video, I decided to do a bit of an introduction to me and will be doing an introduction/very brief tour of my flat. I also decided that I'd add a little "what you can expect to see" section at the end to keep you guys hopefully coming back for more!!

I would love it if you guys would comment on it, give me advice and feedback to help me make my videos better!

The Day Everything Changed!

Well.... Where do I begin....

I honestly never thought that I would start a blog. I don't know why, it just never occurred to me as something I would enjoy, but here I am, ready to get stuck in!

As the description says, this blog is all about the smaller things in life, and today my main topic is family :) Yesterday was my dad's birthday and well, we never really do anything big but spending time with family always makes my day just that little bit better, whether it's for a couple of hours or going out for the day, family is something that shapes who we are and who we strive to become, which is what I've learnt over the past couple of years.

I wouldn't say I have a huge family, and we aren't s close as other people I know, but that doesn't mean we love each other any less. After my Granddad passing away towards the end of last year, I realised that life is what you make it, and you should make the most out of every minute you get with the people you love, because you never know when it could be the last.

Right, I think that's enough going on for one day, and it's getting quite late too, so time for bed!
